Poloniex’s V3 API provides spot and futures market data plus trading. Public market data is keyless (verified live); API keys are for private endpoints.

Authentication

• Public endpoints: none (keyless).
• Private endpoints: API key with HMAC-SHA256 signing — see the docs.

Rate Limits & Notes

• Public endpoints: throttled (see docs); private keys raise limits.
• Symbols use underscore pairs: BTC_USDT.
• The V3 API (api.poloniex.com) replaced the legacy V1/V2 endpoints.
• Market data endpoints cover spot and futures (/futures).
