FakerAPI

Overview

FakerAPI generates fake data for 10+ entity types — people, companies, products, addresses, texts, images, and more — as JSON/XML. Keyless and CORS-enabled, it’s a handy source of realistic test data for prototypes and demos.

⚠️ Status (verified 2026-08): repeated requests returned HTTP 502 Bad Gateway — the service appears to be having an outage. Verify availability before relying on it (the API docs are still at fakerapi.it).

None — keyless.

Rate Limits & Notes

• Free; no documented hard limit — be polite.
• Entities: persons, companies, addresses, products, texts, images, credit_cards, and more — each with _quantity and entity-specific params.
• Output formats: JSON (default), XML (_locale/_format=xml).
• Multiple locales supported (_locale=en_US, de_DE, it_IT…).

Is FakerAPI free? Yes — free and keyless.

Why do I get a 502? 2026-08 verification showed gateway errors — the service may be experiencing an outage. Retry later or verify on the site.
