Currency-api (fawazahmed0/currency-api) was a beloved free, keyless exchange-rate API — daily-updated rates for 150+ currencies served as JSON from GitHub/jsDelivr, with no registration.

⚠️ Status (verified 2026-08): the hosted data endpoints returned HTTP 404 from all mirrors we tried (cdn.jsdelivr.net, currency-api.pages.dev, raw GitHub) — the project’s hosted data appears to be unavailable. Verify from your network before relying on it.
