Overview

CoinRanking provides cryptocurrency market rankings and data — prices, market caps, OHLC, and exchange data. A free API key is recommended, but basic reads worked without a key in our test (verified 2026-08) — anonymous access is rate-limited.

Authentication

• Register at coinranking.com → free API key.
• Send it as the x-access-token header.
• Anonymous requests work but are heavily rate-limited (verified).

Rate Limits & Notes

• Free tier: ~10,000 requests/month with a key (check the docs); anonymous is very limited.
• Endpoints: /v2/coins, /v2/coin/{uuid}, /v2/coin/{uuid}/history, /v2/exchanges.
• Coin UUIDs (e.g. Qwsogvtv82FCd for BTC) are stable identifiers.
